Living Garden Burgers


1 pound raw nuts &/or seeds.  (almonds, sunflower seeds, walnuts, pecans, etc)

¾ pound diced carrots

1 large diced onion

1/8 C nutritional yeast

1 T cold pressed extra virgin olive oil

1 t raw honey or raw agave nectar

2 T poultry seasoning (I currently have the Simply Organic brand)

salt to taste


Grind nuts in food processor.  Set aside in a medium bowl.

Process the rest of the ingredients to a pulp in food processor.

Combine the pulp and nuts in bowl and mix well.

Form into burgers, top with red bell pepper strips and sliced tomatoes, and wrap in a lettuce leaf.

    I used this recipe to make a raw “stuffing” for Thanksgiving dinner. It was delicious! In addition to the ingredients listed, I added 2 celery sticks to the blend to give it more of a “stuffing” flavor. I formed it into a heart shape on top of lettuce leaves and sprinkled some dried herbs on top for garnish. It was a huge hit!
